The United States' road back to the Fed Cup final will begin on home soil vs. Latvia.
The draw for the 2020 Fed Cup qualifier was conducted today at the International Tennis Federation office in London.

The 16-nation Fed Cup qualifier will be staged February 7-8th, 2020.
The eight winning nations advance to the 2020 Fed Cup Finals in Budapest staged from April 14-19th. Those eight nations will join the 2019 finalists—Australia and France—as well as host nation Hungary and wild card Czech Republic in the Fed Cup Finals.

Japan at Spain
Canada at Switzerland

Great Britain at Slovakia
The eight losing nations from February's qualifier will compete in the 2020 Fed Cup Playoffs, contested the same week as the Fed Cup Finals.
Each qualifier tie will feature four singles matches and one doubles match with all matches best-of-three tie break sets.
