Coopers replaces Heineken as official beer of the Australian Open. Heineken remains a sponsor of the US Open with its Heineken Red Star Cafe outside of Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Coopers will also sponsor Australian Open Series events in Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart and Adelaide starting in 2017.

The nation's largest family owned brewery will also support the Hopman Cup in Perth starting in 2018.

“We’re delighted to welcome Coopers, an iconic and much-loved Australian brand, to the Australian Open family,” Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley said. “The Australian Open is not just about world class tennis, it’s a fantastic social event that attracts hundreds of thousands of fans to Melbourne Park each year. It’s a highlight of the summer and Coopers is a great match for the relaxed Aussie atmosphere our fans love."
