Grigor Dimitrov will play the U.S. Open armed with a new accomplice.
Dimitrov has re-signed with Wilson and debuted his new Wilson Pro Staff 97S frame at the Citi Open in Washington, D.C. earlier this month. The racquet will go on sale in retail outlets worldwide in October.

The racquet manufacturer, which worked with Roger Federer designing his new racquet, also collaborated with Dimitrov on his stick.
“Wilson really listened to me as we developed this racquet. The team studied how I play and talked with me about what I need from my racquet,” said Dimitrov. “I appreciate the commitment the Wilson team had to making the racquet perfect, precise to my needs, and my style. This is what makes them a great partner. I couldn’t be prouder of this racquet and to continue my relationship with the brand.”
The 2014 Wimbledon semifinalist also discussed the collaborative process in this video Wilson issued a couple of weeks ago.
