Top seed Andy Murray could face Grigor Dimitrov in the semifinals of next week’s Citi Open. Murray, who hasn’t played since helping the British Davis Cup team reach the semifinals a week after Wimbledon, could meet Teymuraz Gabashvili or Benjamin Becker in the second round (all seeds have first-round byes).

If the seeds hold Murray could face Pablo Cuevas in the third round and John Isner in the quarterfinals. Murray has not played in Washington since his lone appearance in 2006, when he reached the final before bowing out to Arnaud Clement.
6th-seeded Dimitrov, inactive since a third-round loss to Richard Gasquet at Wimbledon, is still without a long-term solution at coach after he parted ways with Roger Rasheed.
Dimitrov could face Marcos Baghdatis in the second round at D.C. If the seeds hold he would face Bernard Tomic in the third round and 4th-seeded Richard Gasquet in the quarterfinals. Dimitrov is also pairing with soon to be retired Mardy Fish in doubles, and they'll square off against the vaunted #PospiSock in the opening round:
Gasquet reached the semifinals at Washington last year before falling to 2014 runner-up, Vasek Pospisil.
Second-seeded Kei Nishikori would face 3rd-seeded Marin Cilic in the semifinals in the lower half if the seeds hold.
Nishikori had his best performance at the Citi Open last year when he reached the quarterfinals.
