Fresh off the BJK Cup stage, where she dropped just one game in two matches as she guided Poland to this year’s finals, World No.1 Iga Swiatek takes her talents to the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart.
Seven Top-10 players are featured in this year’s draw, and four former champions (Karolina Pliskova, Petra Kvitova, Angelique Kerber and Laura Siegemund).

Notable storylines and first-rounders
Bianca Andreescu will begin her 2022 season in Stuttgart, the Canadian drawing Germany’s Julie Niemeier in round one, with the winner facing No.2-seeded Aryna Sabalenka.
Petra Kvitova faces Karolina Pliskova in a top-half battle of Czech former champions, with the winner facing the winner of Chloe Paquet vs Lyudmila Samsonova.
No.5-seeded Anett Kontaveit faces two-time champion Angelique Kerber in round one, with the winner facing wither Zhang Shuai or Ekaterina Alexandrova in the second round.
No.7-seeded Ons Jabeur faces Marketa Vondrousova in round one - look out for the drop shots.
Coco Gauff faces Daria Kasatkina in round one, with the winner facing the Jabeur - Vondrousova winner.
