Afterward, Korda praised the 18-year-old Alcaraz as a complete player who "can do it all."
"He can do it all," Korda said of Alcaraz. "He's quick, he's got a great serve, great forehand, great backhand, volleys well. There is nothing he can't really do. He's very mentally strong, physical."
Korda shared the hope of many tennis fans that this maiden Masters clash between the pair is the start of a pulsating rivalry.
