U.S. Davis Cup teammates Jack Sock and John Isner reprised their mini-tennis warm-up with a twist in Houston .

Sock and Isner played Jared Donaldson and Mardy Fish in a volleyball-influence mini-tennis drill that came to a sharp climax at the US Men's Clay Court Championship.

Watch: Crowd Diving

The top-seeded Sock, who won the 2015 Houston title, will face 2004 champion Tommy Haas in his opener.

No. 2-seeded Isner, who also had a first-round bye, will play Argentine qualifier Leonardo Mayer or Czech Adam Pavlasek in his opening match.
