The fourth-ranked Spaniard believes bravery is the key to her aggressive baseline game.
"To be brave and take risk is the way you're going to win. I like to take my chances," Muguruza says. "I try to go for the victory and not wait for the other one to give it to me."
In this new ad for her apparel sponsor, adidas, released today, Muguruza discusses her mental approach to the game in between video of her training.
"It's my game. I'm trying to be as dangerous as possible," Muguruza says. "If you want to be really good at something, you have to spend all your energy and time to doing it. Otherwise it's not going to happen because I've never seen miracles."
