Roberta Vinci reached a career-high ranking of No. 8 in the world on Monday. The Italian, a runner-up at last year’s U.S. Open, moved up a slot after Spain’s Carla Suarez Navarro dropped from No. 6 to No. 11 when she failed to defend her Miami final points from last year.

Vinci became the oldest woman in WTA history to make her Top-10 debut in February. Betty Stove of the Netherlands, who reached the Top-10 as a 31-year-old in 1976, is the only other player in WTA history to reach the Top 10 after turning 30.

Vinci isn’t the only player to crack a rankings milestone this week.

Great Britain’s Johanna Konta climbed to a career-high No. 21 in the world after reaching the quarterfinals at Miami. Konta became the first woman from Great Britain to crack the Top-25 since Jo Durie did so in 1987.

Russia’s Daria Kasatkina climbed to a career-high ranking of 35 in the world. The 18-year-old, a former Roland Garros Girls’ champion, is closing in on a French Open seeding after she reached the quarterfinals on her Indian Wells debut and reached the second-round at Miami this March.

Victoria Azarenka climbed three spots to No. 5 in the world on the strength of her back-to-back titles at Indian Wells and Miami, and the Belarusian also took over the top spot in the Road to Singapore standings, climbing from No. 3 to No. 1. Azarenka is 22-1 on the season with titles at Brisbane, Indian Wells and Miami.

Svetlana Kuznetsova rises to No. 13 as a result of her runner-up performance in Miami, while Timea Babos notches a career-high ranking of No. 39 after reaching the round of 16 in Miami. The 22-year-old was also a runner-up in doubles at Miami and a semifinalist at Indian Wells, and currently ranks No. 11 in the world in doubles.

On the outside of the Road to Singapore race and looking in currently are Simona Halep and Garbine Muguruza. Halep comes in at 22, while Muguruza ranks 41 in the race.
