Grigor Dimitrov has really had to battle in his first two matches at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, but the 22-year-old is one match away from matching his quarterfinal result of 2013 after two three-set victories over Spaniards Marcel Granollers and Albert Ramos.

Dimitrov didn't win the first set today against Ramos, but he proved why he's one of the most exciting ATP players to watch on this dazzling forehand down-the-line passing shot that curls majestically past Ramos and lands well inside the line.

Wow. Ramos actually covered the line on this point, but Dimitrov still bent it around the tramlines where the Spaniard couldn't have touched it with a ten foot pole.

To get the full impact of this beauty, watch the slo-mo replay. Just magnificent from that camera angle, isn't it? What we wouldn't give to hit one like that—just once!

Dimitrov and his bag of tricks will face David Ferrer in the next round at Monte-Carlo. Dimitrov owns a 1-3 career record against the pit bull known as David, but he did manage a victory against him in their last meeting in Stockholm last autumn.
