Wimbledon comes to Central Park this weekend.
You can be part of the party.

A special Wimbledon Court in Central Park will host four days of free tennis events from Friday, June 26th to Monday, June 29th, which is the opening day of Wimbledon main-draw action.
A center piece of Central Park’s Wimbledon is The Wimbledon Court Invitational on Friday, June 26th, featuring tennis icons Andre Agassi, Caroline Wozniacki, James Blake and Genie Bouchard, which will officially launch The Wimbledon Court in Central Park, New York.
A special grass-court built by the Wimbledon grounds crew in New York’s famed Wollman Rink is the site of the exhibition event.
The Wimbledon Court Invitational afternoon will be hosted by tennis commentator and former Tennis Now host Blair Henley and host and fitness instructor Ally Love.
Here’s a schedule of events for Wimbledon in Central Park:
- Event: The Wimbledon Court in Central Park, New York
- Dates: Friday 26 June – Monday 29 June 2026
- Location: Central Park, New York (Wollman Rink)

If you’re in New York City this Friday, you can secure a ticket to the exhibition. A limited number of walk-up tickets will be made available to watch The Wimbledon Court Invitational and to participate in coaching clinics by professional tennis coaches from the West Side Tennis Club.
Other on-court action, all free to watch, will include a ‘Creator Cup’ in which a host of influencers and creators will test their tennis skills, a wheelchair court session with Commonpoint Tennis & Athletic Center in honor of 50 years of wheelchair tennis, community sessions with the New York Junior Tennis League, City Parks Foundation and USTA and a live screening of Day One of The Championships on Monday.

New York City residents, still celebrating their beloved New York Knicks’ first NBA Championship in 53 years, will see symbols of the grass-court Grand Slam all over Manhattan.
A Wimbledon-branded fleet of Wimbledon Range Rovers will transport VIPs and Wimbledon’s popular collection, including caps, towels, t-shirts and more, will available for purchase on site.
“New York City’s parks are where people come together to play, connect, and experience something extraordinary,” said NYC Parks Commissioner Tricia Shimamura. “Bringing The Wimbledon Court to Central Park gives New Yorkers a unique opportunity to enjoy free tennis programming, community events, and the excitement of one of the world’s most iconic sporting traditions in a public setting.
“From youth engagement and coaching clinics to live screenings and family-friendly activities, this event highlights how our parks can serve as gathering places that make world-class experiences accessible to everyone.”
