Nicolas Almagro was not crying wolf. The Spaniard made headlines when he bawled on court prior to retiring from his second-round match with Juan Martin del Potro at this year’s French Open. Today it has been reported that Almagro has had successful arthroscopic surgery to repair the meniscus of his left knee. Almagro will reportedly remain inactive for the next 6 to 8 weeks, which means that the remainder of his season might be in jeopardy.
