Looking at the photo of Kvitova’s lacerations above, and seeing how far she has come in the aftermath of this horrific incident (she returned at Roland Garros, won the Birmingham title and owns a 10-6 record on the season thus far), one can’t help but well up with admiration for her. The two-time Wimbledon champion is a true warrior, an inspiration and a humble champion. ]]>
