That despite an inspired winner from his opponent in the late stages of their match.Sock faced off against Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas in their first round match. Both entered knowing that Cuevas beat Sock in straight sets when they met in the same exact round of last year’s US Open.More: Sevastova Stops GauffAfter battling through five sets, they found themselves in a final set tiebreak. Trailing 0-2, Cuevas pulled off what has to be the shot of the tournament so far with this outrageous winner struck from the seat of his shorts.
