Jannik Sinner climbed into the stands to share a celebratory kiss with girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya after winning the US Open.Today, Sinner shot down reports the couple have taken a walk down the aisle.More: WADA Appeals Sinner's Doping Case, Seeks Ban for World No. 1
World No. 1 Sinner defeated Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-2 today to reach the Shanghai Rolex Masters round of 16.Afterward, Sinner was asked to set the record straight on reports he was engaged or married after his US Open victory.The top-seeded Sinner said reports the couple wed or that he proposed to WTA star Kalinskaya are "false news" and news to him."It was new also for me, to be honest," Sinner said prompting laughter in his post-match presser.
