Report: Video Footage Shows that Venus Williams May Not be at Fault in Fatal Car Crash

Authorities investigating the fatal car crash involving Venus Williams have found new evidence that shows that Williams may not be at fault. Video footage surfaced from a community surveillance camera which shows that the 37-year-old legally entered the intersection where the accident occurred. This contradicts with previous report of the June 9th crash.More: Heartbroken Venus Williams Show Focus in Wimbledon WinIn a statement Friday, Palm Beach Gardens Police Department released a statement saying they obtained video surveillance footage which shows Williams’ innocence.In addition to their statement, police released a video of the crash.

Although this new evidence helps Williams, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department stated that the investigation is still underway and a final determination of fault has not been made. ]]>
