Auger-Aliassime Pulls out of Madrid and Next Gen Finals

Felix Auger-Aliassime will miss next week’s Paris Masters and the ATP’s Next Gen Finals in Milan from Nov. 5-9 due to a left ankle sprain that he suffered while practicing in preparation for this week’s Erste Bank Open in Vienna.Auger-Aliassime, in the midst of a breakout season that has seen him become the youngest ATP-500 finalist in history as well as reaching two other finals and making his Top 20 debut, has decided to exercise caution and take some rest before participating in the Davis Cup Finals from No. 18 to 24 in Madrid.
