Angelique Kerber Hires Dieter Kindlmann as Coach

Angelique Kerber has signed on to work with Dieter Kindlmann. The former World No.1 has been without a coach since ending her partnership with Rainer Schuettler this July. Kerber finished her season at No.20 in the world, compared to No.2 at the end of 2018. The 31-year-old went 28-19 on the season.“I’m excited to get back into training. Happy to announce that Didi Kindlmann will be joining my team as the new coach! Work starts here, and I‘m thankful for the people in my team that share the same vision moving forward,” Kerber wrote on social media when she announced the news.
