(November 17, 2010) Red eye is a clear sign of recovery for Jelena Jankovic. The former World No. 1 underwent surgery to remove an object from her left eye last week and reports she had the stitches removed from her eye yesterday.

"The doctor just took my stitches out," Jankovic posted on her Facebook page. "My eye is better but still red, it takes a little time to recover. I am wearing glasses all day, trying to protect my eye and look cool hahaha."

Thankfully, surgery has not hampered her humor.
