Su-Wei Hsieh of Taiwan and China's Shuai Peng confirmed their status as the WTA's top doubles team by winning yet another Grand Slam title -- this time at the French Open.

The top seeds faced off against No. 2 seeds Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci of Italy in Sunday's women's doubles final.

In the opening set, the Italians claimed an early 3-1 lead. Hsieh and Peng countered with precise returning and soon took the first set 6-4.

Hsieh and Peng reeled off six straight games in the second set and soon clinched the match when Errani sent a forehand wide on match point.

With that, Hsieh and Peng celebrated the 6-4, 6-1 victory.

Paris is now their second career Grand Slam title together as a team having won Wimbledon last year.
