Andy Murray was caught being funny on a video for Red Nose Day, a celebration of comedy in the United Kingdom. He starred in his short with the case of the BBC comedy, Outnumbered. In it, he is in a hospital, waiting for a friend. The hilarious cast of Outnumbered then comes up Murray and proceeds to ridicule tennis and Murray’s nationality.
Murray is actually quite funny, or at least he seems funny because he is surrounded by so many other funny people. Of the most choice lines, a little girl asks, “Are you British or Scottish?” to which Murray replies, “Depends
if I win or not.”
In another section, one of the sons asks Andy to take a picture, but isn’t pleased with it and asks to take another one, in which he appears “more emo.” He finally tells Andy that his friends don’t believe that he’s really there and
that maybe he could make a video where he says, “Focus!”
It’s certainly commendable to see Andy Murray pocking fun at not only himself, but at the sport in general. Kudos!
