Krueger, who will turn 20 next May, dropped just 16 points on serve across the contest, and never faced a break point as she powered to her maiden WTA title.

Krueger is projected to make her Top-100 debut in Monday’s WTA rankings, at about 75.

Her victory in the final marks her second career Top-50 win (in her 11th tour-level event).

She defeated 8th-seeded, Kateryna Baindl, Jessika Ponchet, Anna Kalinskaya and Mai Hontama en route to the final.

Zhu was bidding for her second title of 2023, after winning Hua Hin in February.
