More: Garcia Stuns World No. 1 Swiatek in Warsaw
A day after Garcia stunned top-ranked Iga Swiatek on her home court 6-1, 1-6, 6-4 for her first victory in 10 attempts over a reigning world No. 1, she was calling the shots against the 58th-ranked Italian from the outset.
Garcia broke in Paolini's opening service game surging to a 3-0 lead.
The fifth-seeded Frenchwoman won the last three games of the opener seizing a one-set lead.
As she did in yesterday's quarterfinal vs. two-time Roland Garros champion Swiatek, Garcia repeatedly stepped into the court to rip returns on the rise. Garcia won 14 of 23 points played on Paolini's first serve.
After Paolini held to start the second set, Garcia raced through five consecutive games. The two-time Roland Garros doubles champion closed in 65 minutes.
Garcia will play for her ninth career title—and second in her championship in her last five tournaments following her run to the Bad Homburg title on grass last month—when she faces Ana Bogdan in tomorrow's BNP Paribas Poland Open final.
Earlier, world No. 108 Bogdan beat lucky loser Kateryna Baindl 7-5, 7-5 to reach her first Tour-level final.
The 29-year-old Romanian, who was winless in four career WTA semifinals, has not dropped a set scoring four tournament wins this week.
In their lone prior meeting, Garcia beat Bogdan 6-4, 6-3 at the 2017 Wimbledon.
