David Goffin dispatched Egor Gerasimov 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 to reach his first final since 2019 where he will face top-seeded Roberto Bautista Agut for the Montpellier title.

The top two seeds will square off in a marquee Montpellier final.
Second-seeded David Goffin broke serve three times defeating Egor Gerasimov 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 to advance to his first final since 2019 at the Open Sud de France.

It is Goffin's first final since the 2019 Cincinnati.
The Belgian avenged a 6-4, 7-5 loss to Gerasimov in Marseille last year.
Goffin will play for his fifth career title when he takes on Roberto Bautista Agut in Sunday's final.
The top-seeded Spaniard streaked through nine of the last 10 games dismissing 144th-ranked qualifier Peter Gojowczyk -5, 6-1 to advance to his 17th career final.
Bautista Agut is playing for his 10th career title and first since the 2019 Doha when he defeated Stan Wawrinka, Novak Djokovic and Tomas Berdych in succession.
The 30-year-old Goffin has won three of five meetings vs. Bautista Agut, including three in a row, however the Spaniard has won two of their three hard-court matches.
