Juan Martin del Potro is out of Wimbledon and will undergo knee surgery after fracturing his right patella for the second time in a slip at Queen's Club.
It seemed a slight slip on grass, but it's created a major injury issue for Juan Martin del Potro.
The 2009 US Open champion has withdrawn from next month's Wimbledon and will require knee surgery after re-injuring his right knee during his 7-5, 6-4 Queen's Club victory over Denis Shapovalov yesterday.

"The medical studies done last night in a clinic in London show that Juan Martin del Potro has suffered again a fracture in the right patella," del Potro's communication team said in a statement on Instagram.
"After consultation with his doctor Angel Cotorro, it has been determined that it will require surgery. This will take place in the next couple of days with a date and location to be determined. We will keep you informed."
It is a painful setback for del Potro, who suffered a fractured right patella nearly eight months to the day after sustaining the same injury.
Last October, del Potro suffered a fractured patella bone after taking a hard fall during his round of 16 match vs. Borna Coric at the Shanghai Masters.

After the match Del Potro’s team gave a brief explanation of the injury and said that he was experiencing swelling.
The 30-year-old Argentine was limited to five tournaments this season, posting an 8-4 record after recovering from his 2018 knee injury.
Del Potro showed flashes of the form that carried him to the 2018 US Open final, including holding match points against world No. 1 Novak Djokovic before bowing in a spirited Rome quarterfinal last month.
The 6'6" del Potro is expected to undergo knee surgery in the coming days.
Injuries have decimated del Potro's career, yet time and time again he's made inspired comebacks.
Del Potro has undergone four wrist surgeries—
three on his left wrist as well as a surgery on his right wrist on May 4th, 2010.
