Umag champion Dusan Lajovic continued his red-clay hot streak stopping Denis Istomin, 6-4, 6-7(2), 7-6(2), advancing to his second straight quarterfinal at the Swiss Open.

Fresh off winning his first career title on the red clay of Umag on Sunday, Lajovic extended his winning streak to five matches.
The third-seeded Serbian converted four of 15 break-points in a two hour, 23-minute triumph.
Next up for the world No. 26 is a quarterfinal date with Pablo Andujar.
Andujar was a 6-1, 3-6, 7-6(2) victor over Taro Daniel.
The seventh-seeded Spaniard, who won the Gstaad title in 2014, raised his Swiss Open record to 9-3. The 33-year-old Andujar has won three of four meetings vs. Lajovic, including a 7-5, 6-2, triumph at the 2015 Gstaad.
In a tight, all-Spanish test, top-seeded Roberto Bautista Agut battled by Jaume Munar, 7-6(7), 6-4. The 2018 Gstaad finalist set up a quaterfinal clash vs. Joao Sousa.
Earlier, Sousa stopped 21-year-old Italian qualifier Gian Marco Moroni, 6-4, 6-4, in 92 minutes.
