The former world No. 5 scored her fifth straight win, including three qualifying victories, reaching her first Tour-level quarterfinal since she made the final four in Gstaad in July losing to top-seeded Alize Cornet.
Bouchard blasted through the opening set in 27 minutes on the strength of 11 winners against just four unforced errors. She wrapped up a 53-minute thrashing dispensing a second-set bagel.
The 24-year-old Bouchard will face either Andrea Petkovic or fifth-seeded Katerina Siniakova next.
It was a good day for qualifiers.
Swiss qualifier Belinda Bencic beat Kirsten Flipkens, 6-1, 6-3, setting up a quarterfinal meeting with Vera Lapko.
Lapko knocked off ninth-seeded Pauline Parmentier, 7-5, 6-2.
The 47th-ranked Bencic, who arrived in Luxembourg on a five-match losing streak, is through to her first quarterfinal since New Haven in August.
In their last meeting, Lapko won 12 of the last 13 games subduing Bencic, 1-6, 6-1, 6-0, in Linz last week.
Top-seeded Julia Goerges powered past Anna Blinkova, 6-1, 6-4.
Continuing her quest for her first semifinal appearance since New Haven in August, Goerges will face Donna Vekic in the quarterfinals.
The sixth-seeded Vekic rallied past French wild card Fiona Ferro, 2-6, 6-1, 7-5.
Goerges, who opened the season defeating Caroline Wozniacki to win her fifth title in Auckland, has beaten Vekic in both prior meetings, including a 6-3, 6-2, triumph in the Wimbledon round of 16 earlier this year.
