The top-seeded Slovak dispatched Mona Barthel, 6-3, 6-2, in 77 minutes to roar into the Hungarian Ladies Open final.

It is Cibulkova's first final since New Haven last August.

The 2014 Australian Open finalist will face 80th-ranked Alison Van Uytvanck in tomorrow's final.

Van Uytvanck ended the spirited run of lucky loser Viktoria Kuzmova, 6-4, 6-2, in today's second semifinal.

The 33rd-ranked Cibulkova is aiming for her ninth career title.
