Daria Kasatkina continues to impress in Moscow.
Kasatkina swept Irina-Camelia Begu, 6-2, 6-3, surging into the Kremlin Cup final.

It is the 28th-ranked Russian’s first final since she defeated Begu, Laura Siegemund and her friend, Jelena Ostapenko in succession to win her maiden title in Charleston last April.
Kasatkina beat Begu for the fifth time in six meetings, including her fourth consecutive victory over the world No. 56.
The 20-year-old Russian will play for her second career title tomorrow against Julia Goerges.
The seventh-seeded Goerges held off 20-year-old Russian Natalia Vikhlyantseva, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5.
The 27th-ranked German hit eight aces in a one hour, 58-minute win.
Goerges and Kasatkina have split four meetings with Goerges prevailing 7-5, 6-1 in the 2016 Moscow quarterfinals. Goerges, who reached her fourth final of the season, is bidding for her first WTA title since the 2011 Stuttgart.
It is Kasatkina’s first singles final in Moscow and the third year in a row she’s contested a Kremlin Cup singles or doubles final. Two years ago, Kasatkina and compatriot Elena Vesnina won the Moscow doubles title and last year Kasatkina and Daria Gavrilova were Kremlin Cup doubles finalists.

Outdueling Begu in a 10-minute game, Kasatkina converted her fifth break point for a 3-2 lead. That sparked a run of four consecutive games as she snatched a one-set lead after 41 minutes of play.
Begu, who took treatment for a shoulder issue after the opening set, could not gain much traction in longer baseline exchanges.
Moving the ball corner to corner, Kasatkina broke again for a 4-3 second-set lead and never looked back earning her seventh victory in her last eight matches in one hour, 23 minutes.
