Reigning champion Jelena Jankovic served double duty reaching the Guangzhou singles final where she will face Lesia Tsurenko.

Reigning champion Jelena Jankovic moved one step closer to her second straight Guangzhou final.
The second-seeded Serbian squeezed out a 7-5, 7-6 (7) victory over third-seeded Ana Konjuh to reach her second straight final at the Guangzhou International Women's Open.

Jankovic beat Konjuh for the second time this season. She scored a 7-5, 6-3 win over the 18-year-old Croatian on the grass of Mallorca in June.
The former world No. 1 will play Lesia Tsurenko in tomorrow's final.
Tsurenko was a 6-4, 6-2 victor over Anett Kontaveit.
Jankovic defeated Tsurenko in their lone prior meeting at the 2015 Indian Wells.
The 37th-ranked Jankovic served double duty on Friday. After beating Konjuh, she partnered defending doubles champion Martina Hingis, but the pair came up short.
Wild cards Olga Govortsova and Vera Lapko defeated the former world No. 1 pair, 6-4, 3-6, 10-8, to reach the doubles final.
