Gaining entry into this exclusive club is more demanding than qualifying for the BNP Paribas Open main draw: Former world No. 1 Indian Wells champions convene on the roof of the stadium.
World No. 1Novak Djokovic took time out after practice to spend some quality time with his fans.

Meeting the media in her return to Indian Wells for the first time since 2001, Serena Williams said: "I’m looking forward to stepping out on center court and letting the whole world know it doesn’t matter what you face or whether it was something that wasn’t right. Something that hurt your family. You can come out and just be strong and say 'I’m still going to be here, I’m still going to survive and I’m still going to be the best person I can be.' "

Mardy Fish ended an 18-month sabbatical from tennis and held two match points in his comeback match before falling to friend and fantasy baseball rival Ryan Harris.
Afterward, Fish joked the locker-room landscape has changed dramatically since he was a Top 10 player.
"It seems like 30 percent of the locker room I've never seen before," Fish said. "That Kokkinakis kid has a locker next to me. The only reason I knew it was when they called his name and he left. So I just assumed it was him."
Mardy reconnected with one of his older buddies, Juan Martin del Potro, in the locker room.

World No. 6 Ana Ivanovic and fifth-ranked Caroline Wozniacki shared a moment.
Taylor Townsend had some support from actress and noted tennis junkie Robin Givens during her dramatic 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 victory over Bethanie Mattek-Sands in an all-American wild card battle.
The 18-year-old Townsend moved on to a second-round clash with former U.S. Open champion Samantha Stosur
Sounds like Andy Murray, watching from the tournament hotel, was impressed by Townsend's attacking game and feel around the net.
