Many around the tennis world are saying that Melanie Oudin is little miss upset. I don't think they are giving her enough credit. After her run at Wimbledon on a surface she had never played on before, is it really shocking that she is going deep into this tournament. Not if you have observed past champions..

We've made it through to the round of 16! Men's draw has stayed fairly intact thus far which makes the next few picks soo critical.

Seeing as we've already used Davydenko,  for day 8, we're going with Soderling to upset Davydenko.

Let's go with the elastic Frenchman Monfils to win his match against Acasuso

Another tough pick today…let’s go with the Steady-Nedy Russian Daveydenko to win his match against the Swiss qualifier from Basel, Chiudinelli.

Today's pick is a tough one. Let's go with JCF to win his match today. JCF plays the German qualifier, Petzschner today.

Day four: we're going with Kohlschreiber to win his match today.

Our match of the day pick: Nadal vs. Gasquet

Still don’t know why this match is not being played under the lights on Ashe but it promises to be a good one. Nadal, sporting a Federer-inspired new hair cut takes on a newly reinstated Gasquet. If memory serves correct, not too long ago Gasquet was dubbed “Baby Federer” by many of us. Although his career thus far has paled in comparison, the backhand is a thing of beauty and he plays the game with quintessential French flair.  Let’s hope Gasquet shows up to play.

Our blue plate “upset” special: Bartoli vs. Clijsters

No one really would consider this an upset by any means but for the sake of paying some respect to the WTA ranking system, let’s call it that. Bartoli’s DIY game has no shortage of quirkiness. She played in her 1st round but unlucky for her, she was rewarded with a second round encounter with a resurgent Clijsters.
