It was a great weekend for Novak Djokovic who achieved his first ever placing at the top of the ATP Rankings and first Wimbledon title. The authority he showed in winning at the All England Lawn Tennis Club confirmed that he is now the man the every other player in the mens game must beat and the period of dominance from Federer and Nadal looks over as the Serbian certainly looks set to stick around.

On Monday, July 4, Novak Djokovic became just the 26th player of the Open Era to be ranked No. 1 on the ATP Tour.
