And you thought college football's rankings were idiotic.

Giving you all the news in the Twitterverse from your favorite players.

Roger Federer (SUI) vs. Novak Djokovic (SRB)

Federer didn’t appear to be effected by the wind with his straight set victory over Robin Soderling. He looked focused, determined and was extremely effective in every aspect of his game. He broke Soderling 5/6 times and had 18 aces to advance to the semis of the US Open for the seventh straight time.

Djokovic is playing some of the best tennis I have seen from him in quite some time. Monfils tested him in the opening set, but once he settled down, he was able to control the match without many hiccups. This is his fourth straight trip to the semis of the US Open and he is looking to get back to the finals for the first time since 2007.

 THE  JOKER WAS AWESOME!

Like always at the US-Open, the two men’s semi finals and the women’s final will be played on Saturday. No. 2 seed Kim Clijsters will take on no. 7 seed Vera Zwonarewa and the top 3 men’s seed, Nadal, Federer and Djokovic will be joined by no. 12 seed Mikahail Yuzhny. No US player on Super Saturday is a big disappointment for the New York fans, but everyone is hoping for the big final between Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal on Sunday.
