The ATP’s Asian swing will kick into high gear this week when the China Open in Beijing kicks off.

Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev will jump in as the No.1 and No.2 seeds, with Holger Rune at No.3, Stefanos Tsitsipas at No.5 and Andrey Rublev at No.5.

Eight of the Top 10 players in the ATP Rankings will compete at the China Open (which is being held for the first time since 2019) including Alcaraz, who will be making his debut in China.

See the full draw here:

No.2-ranked Alcaraz will open his accounts with a qualifier in round one; next the Spaniard is slated to face either Zhuhai champion Karen Khachanov or Lorenzo Musetti. Medvedev faces Tommy Paul in round one, and would face either Andy Murray or Alex de Minaur in the second round of the stacked draw.

The projected quarterfinals, if the seeds hold, look like this:

[1] Alcaraz v Ruud [7]
[3] Rune v Sinner [6]
[8] Zverev v Tsitsipas [4]
[5] Rublev v Medvedev [2]

Other notable first-rounders in this extremely loaded 500-level draw include:

Holger Rune v Felix Auger-Aliassime
Stefanos Tsitsipas v Nicolas Jarry
Andrey Rublev v Cameron Norrie

Main draw play will begin on Thursday in China (Wednesday night stateside).
