Fabio Being Fabio, Not Even Azarenka is So Loud



During his first-round victory of Teymuraz Gabishvili of Russia, Italy’s Fabio Fognini took offense to his opponent’s loud grunting on this protracted rally. After he loses the point he launches into a monologue, as only the jocular Fognini can do, and tells Gabishvili in Italian that not even Azarenka is so loud. That’s not all he said, but we’ll spare you the rest.

Fognini will take on David Ferrer in second-round action on Day 4. It will be the last match on Court 17.
