Grigor Dimitrov is seeking experienced guidance to help turn around a disappointing season.
Dimitrov will work with coach Franco Davin on a trial basis for upcoming tournaments in Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo.

The 45-year-old Argentine was the long-time coach of Juan Martin del Potro. Davin coached del Potro to the 2009 US Open title, including successive victories over Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in the final. Davin and del Potro ended their partnership in July.
Prior to working with del Potro, Davin coached Gaston Gaudio to the 2004 Roland Garros title. Gaudio saved match points in the final defeating compatriot Guillermo Coria, whom Davin also coached at one time.
A 2014 Wimbledon semifinalist, Dimitrov has regressed this season. Since reaching the Madrid quarterfinals in Mary, Dimitrov has struggled to a 10-8 record, including a French Open first-round loss to Jack Sock and a US Open second-round setback to Mikhail Kukushkin.
It has been a season of change for Dimitrov, who split from long-time girlfriend Maria Sharapova as well as coach Roger Rasheed. Dimitrov spent some time training in Florida with Hall of Famer Ivan Lendl, who has said he's not interested in coaching full-time anymore.
