Serbian news source Blic Online is reporting that Novak Djokovic and longtime girlfriend Jelena Ristic got engaged on Monday in Monte Carlo, with the wedding slated for late 2014. The two have been a couple for eight years.

The announcement was confirmed by Dijana Djokovic, Novak's mother. The two met at Serbia's sports academy in Belgrade. Ristic went on to graduate from the University Bocconi of Milan, then moved to Monte Carlo to live with Djokovic. Ristic currently serves as CEO of the Novak Djokovic Foundation.

It's been a heck of a few days for Djokovic, who celebrated his 100th week at No. 1 in the world on Monday, the eighth-most weeks spent atop the charts in ATP history. Djokovic has won six career Grand Slams, five in the past three seasons.

Presently, there are just two married men in the ATP top 10 - Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka.
