Former world No. 1 Medvedev withdrew after collecting a $1.5 million paycheck after absorbing a 6-0, 6-3 shellacking from world No. 1 Jannik Sinner at the Six Kings Slam exibition in Riyadh yesterday.

"I never played against anyone with the game shown by Sinner," said Medvedev, who is seeking his first ATP title of 2024.

Fritz, the 2024 US Open runner-up to Sinner, pulled out of Vienna due to what the tournament called "a muscle injury."
