With three weeks to go until this year’s ATP Finals at Turin, four spots remain up for grabs in the race.

Holger Rune, who reached the final last year at Basel, hopes to hold on to his spot despite being in the throes of a slump that has seen him lose eight of his last nine matches, dating back to his Wimbledon quarterfinal encounter with Carlos Alcaraz.

Next week in Basel, Rune will take his place as the No.1 seed at the Swiss Indoors Basel, and look forward to a first-round clash with Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic.

It was Kecmanovic who bounced Rune from the Stockholm draw, 7-6(3), 6-2 last week.

Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud, Hubert Hurkacz and Alex de Minaur are also hoping to pick up critical points next week at Basel.

Here’s the draw:

Ruud, seeded second, will see his challenge begin immediately as he is set to face Antwerp champion Alexander Bublik in the first round. Fritz, the No.3 seed, faces Australia’s Max Purcell in the opening round. Hurkacz will face Poland’s Dusan Lajovic while De Minaur gets Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman.

Fritz is 145 points behind Rune as play begins in Vienna; Ruud is 295 points back of Rune, while Hurkacz is 335 back and De Minaur is 520 back.
