Next week’s Paris Masters are shaping up to be epic. With several spots at this year’s Race to Turin up for grabs, the tournament will enjoy high stakes matchups.

Add Carlos Alcaraz to the mix and it gets even better...

The Spaniard took to social media on Wednesday to update his status, saying that he is fit and ready to play the final two events of the ATP season, in Paris and at Turin (November 12-19).

“I have good news!” Alcaraz wrote. “I am feeling better every day and I will play Paris-Bercy and be in Turin for the ATP Finals! Excited to finish the year on a high!”

Alcaraz pulled out of Basel with plantar fasciitis in his left foot and muscle fatigue in his lower back but is apparently all good now.

The 2023 Wimbledon champion is 63-9 on the season with six titles. He has set his sights on regaining the No.1 ranking from Novak Djokovic and both players will have the chance to state their case next week in Paris.

Novak Djokovic is currently 500 points ahead of Alcaraz in the Race to Turin, which is the most accurate representation of the ATP’s year-end ATP rankings.

Djokovic is defending 2100 points across Paris and Turin, while Alcaraz defends just 180 from Paris last year.
