Grand Slam king Nadal is scheduled to face Casper Ruud in a Roland Garros final rematch in Buenos Aires on November 23rd.
Now, it appears Nadal and Sabatini will partner in a mixed dream team of two of the game's most popular champions as part of that Buenos Aires exhibition event.
"Hello Rafa, how good that you come to Argentina to play the rematch with Casper, after watching Roland Garros I was very excited to play," Sabatini said in her Instagram post. "I would love to, with all the admiration I have for you, it would be an honor to play a mixed double. Do you accept?"
Reigning Australian Open and Roland Garros champion Nadal seems pumped to play with Sabatini, posting a poll to fans about their chances of success in his Instagram stories.
Former US Open champion Sabatini partnered Gisela Dulko in the Roland Garros legends doubles event last summer.
Former world No. 1 Marat Safin is one of many champions who have cited Sabatini as their ideal dream doubles partner. See Safin explain at 2:10 of the video above why he dreams of partnering Sabatini.
