Emma Raducanu has parted ways with coach Dmitry Tursunov, ending the trial run that began this summer, leaving the Brit without a full-time coach.

Raducanu, the 2021 US Open champion has hired fitness trainer Jez Green to help her get her body right for the 2023 campaign. Raducanu famously struggled with a litany of injuries as she failed to meet expectations in 2022.

Raducanu went 17-19 and reached one semifinal.

She did not manage to get past the second round at any Slam, and lost in the first round of her US Open title defense, falling to Alizé Cornet.

Tellingly, she retired from four different matches, and had to fight through nagging injuries in myriad others.

Tursunov, the former coach of Aryna Sabalenka and Anett Kontaveit, has picked up quickly. He has been coaching Belinda Bencic at Guadalajara this week.

Additionally, it appears that Sascha Bajin, the former hitting partner of Serena Williams and coach to Naomi Osaka and Karolina Pliskova, has begun work with Jelena Ostapenko.
