Only one spot remains left to clinch for the inaugural #NextGenATP Finals in Milan on Nov 7-11. Frances Tiafoe’s loss to Roger Federer on Tuesday clinches qualification for both Jared Donaldson and Borna Coric.

Hyeon Chung of Korea is currently in the lead for the final spot, with the eighth spot going to a wild card.

Donaldson had a very solid year on tour, notching 21 wins at the ATP level including quarterfinals at Cincinnati and Chengdu. Donaldson went 11-13 against the ATP’s Top 50 and reached the third round at Wimbledon.

Coric took a step back in 2017, but did manage his first career title in Marrakech. He mustered three quarterfinals overall, including one in Madrid, and is currently 19-23.

Coric and Donaldson join Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev, Karen Khachanov and Denis Shapovalov in the field.
