Donald Young isn't the highest-ranked American in the Top 100, but he may well be the fastest.

Young revved up his churning wheels and curling forehand to produce this mesmerizing forehand pass against Marin Cilic in Tokyo.

Watch the world No. 51 make a determined diagonal run from the edge of the doubles alley all the way up to net in pursuit of a Cilic half-volley. Young finishes the stirring run with a forehand flourish and winds up so close to the net post he could have touched the Corona sign affixed to net.

Young produced the shot of the match, but Cilic won the match, scoring a 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 victory.
