Roger Federer certainly seems to be back on the track to total tennis domination.  Coming from a few difficult tournaments, Federer is making ground on a comeback.

With his Wilson Six.One Tour BLX racket in tow, Roger Federer won the Stockholm Open to equal Pete Sampras' 64 ATP Tour career titles, defeating Florian Mayer 6-4 6-3 in the final.

"It's fantastic to come here, face the pressure and be able to come through at the end," said Federer. “I’ve won all my tournaments with a Wilson racket, won my 16th Grand Slam title this year with BLX and now to match Pete’s record, feels really good.”

He now shares fourth place in terms of most ATP Tour tournaments won, only behind the greats of Connors, Lendl and McEnroe.

Federer is the holder of numerous other records, including the coveted Grand Slam Men's Singles titles record, most consecutive weeks at #1 on ATP World Tour and most consecutive major finals and semifinals appearances.

“Roger’s impact on the game is immeasurable,” said Wilson Global Tour Director Massimo Calvelli. “He sets the bar high for players on and off the court and continues to amaze. Wilson is proud to be part of his illustrious career.”
