The king of clay whips his signature shot, the forehand, with ferocity in this training video shot at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy in Mallorca.

Wearing no taping on any part of his body, Nadal thumped his forehand with fluidity hitting with his co-coach Marc Lopez. The pair partnered to win the Olympic gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
The 37-year-old Spanish superstar had real concerns about his competitive future after undergoing hip surgery back in June.
Earlier this month, Nadal said he's feeling better in training and confirmed he's confident he will play again in 2024.
“I’m well, training, and happy,” Nadal said earlier this month. “I’m at a good stage of my life. Until now I didn’t know if I would play tennis again someday, and now I genuinely believe I will. I’m still not ready to say when, but I’m able to train increasingly longer, and the progress is good."
Health is Nadal's primary concern for the upcoming season. If Nadal is fully fit, he says he'll be all-in on forming a Spanish dream team with Carlos Alcaraz and play for his third Olympic gold medal in Paris next year.
"I'm I'm okay, and he wants to, I'll be glad to [play]," Nadal told EFE of an Olympic pairing with Alcaraz.
