Spanish Davis Cup hopes took a huge hit with Carlos Alcaraz out for the rest of the yaer.
Now, the Spanish squad has announced its substitute for Alcaraz, who was forced to end his 2022 campaign after tearing his left abdominal muscle at last week's Rolex Paris Masters.

World No. 61 Pedro Martinez has joined a Spanish squad that features Pablo Carreno Busta, Roberto Bautista Agut and Marcel Granollers.
The Davis Cup Finals are set for November 22-27 on indoor hard courts in Malaga, Spain.
