Bouchard, Stephens To Mix it Up in New York


Reigning US Open champion Sloane Stephens will bring her game back to New York in February.

Stephens and former Wimbledon finalist Genie Bouchard will mix it up at the inaugural New York Open then join tournament ambassador John McEnroe and Yonkers, N.Y. native James Blake in an exhibition mixed doubles event to launch the tournament at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island.

Following the Sunday, February 11th qualifying rounds, fans who purchase an evening session ticket will see McEnroe play Blake, followed by a match between Stephens and Bouchard. All four players will take part in a mixed doubles matchup after singles play. All matches will be eight-game pro sets.

John Isner, Kei Nishikori, Noah Rubin and the Bryan Brothers are scheduled to play the tournament.

Individual tickets for opening night are on sale now, and prices range from $58 to $92 (VIP packages range from $222 to $493).
