Mike and Bob Bryan got their first win of this year’s World Tour Finals on Wednesday, coming from behind to take down Horia Tecau and Jean-Julien Roger, 6-7(4), 6-3, 10-6.

The victory itself was to be expected, as Mike and Bob Bryan have already won three ATP World Tour Finals titles and they are the top seeds at the event. But Mike Bryan came up with a bit of unexpected and inspired shotmaking when he went around the netpost to help his team claim this point in the seventh game of the first set.

It wasn’t a lightning-quick strike like Hunter Reese’s Sportcenter-worthy around-the-netpost winner last week in Knoxville, but Mike Bryan did a fine job of threading the needle, delicately stuffing the ball between the post and the Fed Ex sign, and right at the feet of a surprised—and really quite flummoxed—Horia Tecau.

Naturally, a chest bump ensued…

They Bryans, who have not won the title in London since 2009, notched their 60th win of the season with the victory, and will face Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares on Friday with Group A semifinal qualification on the line.
